Statement for Gaza

Admin Login

As members of Waltham Forest’s Faith Communities we are deeply troubled about the suffering caused by the current situation in Gaza. We look to all parties to find the moral strength and courage to bring speedily an end to the killing and to return to the search for peace with justice which all peoples in the region so desperately need and deserve. We are committed to the path of constructive dialogue between those of different faiths here in our community and we will continue to do everything within our power to encourage the use of dialogue over conflict in the Middle East . We also hope and pray that violence between communities in other parts of the world will never damage the bonds of affection between faith communities in Waltham Forest and we will continue to work for peace and understanding between people of all faiths within Waltham Forest.
